Note: The silver knobs are bare aluminium and you will see the tool markings and cutting fluid on the surface (it can be cleaned off), they are grippier than the anodised knobs as they havent been sandblasted/anodised. They are very industrial looking, the LED's reflect off them nicely. As with any bare aluminium the shine will fade over time unless polished or laquered
To install, slide something thin and plastic under your existing knob to pop it off. Align the grub screw with the flat part of your encoder shaft and tighen just enough for a firm fit, overtightening will certainly dent your encoder shaft and if you go crazy will damage it.
*As the central hole diameter is 6.2mm it will only fit 6mm shafts and not 6.35mm shafts on generic encoders
